Beijing calls on US to stop making China monsters | Abroad

Beijing on Monday urged the United States to stop “demonizing” China. The request was made by the Chinese government after Chinese Undersecretary Wendy Sherman worked in the Chinese city of Tianjin.

“We urge you to change America’s most wrong and dangerous policy,” China said in a statement. According to the report, the United States views China as an “imaginary enemy.”

The Chinese Foreign Ministry believes that the relationship between the two countries is no longer moving and that relationship is in big trouble. Last week, the United States and China blamed a number of cyber attacks after thousands of government agencies and organizations were hacked by a leak in Microsoft’s email software. China has denied the allegations, saying the United States is “the biggest source of cyber attacks in the world.”

Sherman arrived in Tianjin on Sunday. Later this week, he will also meet with Chinese Foreign Minister Wang Yi. Sherman is the second high-ranking official to visit China after US Ambassador John Kerry from US President Joe Biden’s cabinet.
