Best Buy Xbox Series X Restock Here. The retailer currently has the Xbox Series X in stock for $499.99 via this link. Today’s restock appears to be an in-store pickup only offering. (You can buy it online, but you have to buy it in the store.)
This is the first Xbox Series X restock we saw from Best Buy in October. So far, Xbox Series X consoles have been hard to come by this month.

As with most retailers, setting up a Best Buy account in advance should be your first priority. You want to make sure your payment details and address details are saved up front to reduce valuable time at checkout; This might be the difference between locking your Xbox Series X and leaving it blank.
It’s also important to note that Best Buy does not currently offer Xbox consoles – although the ordering process is done online, you must choose to pick up at the store. So if you don’t have a local Best Buy store or can’t get to your local store, Best Buy may not be your Xbox distributor.
When restocking, refresh the product page until you see the yellow “Add to cart” button or the gray “Please wait” button. If you see the last option, do not update, but wait until the button changes to yellow “Add to cart”.
Once you can add something to your cart, you may see a message that your Xbox Series X is no longer available. If this happens, you will need to change your location to one that is available in the system. You can also open a new page and repeat the process described above until the Add to Cart button appears again, then return to the original page you opened and try choosing a location again.
Best Buy, like many retailers, is releasing its inventory of Xbox Series X in waves, so wait until if the site initially reads SOLD OUT during the restock window, another opportunity to get an Xbox may appear. Investing time in this process can pay off because others may give up and lose their patience.
The retailer will also ask you to enter the code provided during the purchase process, and you have the option to send it via text message or email. Always choose the text, because it appears almost immediately. It may take a while for email codes to appear or get lost in the spam filter, and by the time you retrieve them, the console will likely be down again.
