OLST – Het Nut, together with utHuus, offers a lecture series on current topics. Charles Cronhuizen's lecture on 'The Divided States of America' was the first in the series on Monday, April 8. On May 13, it was the turn of Ron Keller, former ambassador to Ukraine and Russia. He lectures on the situation in these countries.
Charles Groenhuijsen is a journalist, presenter and program producer. He works as US Correspondent for NOS Journal among others. In 2024 America will elect a president again. How do culture wars play into this? Will America get better? Many Americans (and many Dutch people, for that matter) watch with horror what is happening in America. Who makes the loudest noise in politics and insults the opponents the most. How should it proceed?
Monday April 8 Lecture starts at 8am; Entry from 7.30 pm onwards. Entry fee is 15 euros (Nut members 10 euros). Tickets are available via www.uthuus.nl.
