After the tie between Club Brugge and as yupin There was a lot to do to run the race. Many people thought it was not possible to add more than ten minutes of extra time, but this decision by Bram Van Driessche’s team can also count on a lot of support.
After the match, Mats Ritz and former referee Serge Gomini, among others, praised Van Drich and his team, who penalized Eupen’s apparent time wasting too much extra time. They are also assisted by op. cit. Marcel Javaux.
Javaux, for example, indicates that due to, among other things, Eupen’s extended time, about fifteen minutes of the game was not played. “VAR intervention, substitutions, many injuries and goalkeeper “injuries”… 15.50 minutes in total. Bravo to the referees.”
Spurza counted injury time in the second half in Bruges.
The intervention of the VAR (2.50), substitutions, healers and goalkeeper “injuries” …
Total = 15.50 minutes

This refers to Van den Dreisch’s decision to allow ten minutes (and eventually more) of extra time to play football. Club Brugge could eventually benefit from this as well by scoring through Charles de Kettleri.
Then a football fan asked why it was “the first time we’ve seen something like this in Belgian football”. Javaux’s response was also clear. “Very simple, it’s the first time we’ve seen such an unfortunate situation as that of Eupen’s goalkeeper,” Javaux concluded.
Simple.. it’s the first time we’ve seen such an unfortunate situation as the one proposed by goalkeeper Yubin!
