This refers to Van den Dreisch’s decision to allow ten minutes (and eventually more) of extra time to play football. Club Brugge could eventually benefit from this as well by scoring through Charles de Kettleri.
Then a football fan asked why it was “the first time we’ve seen something like this in Belgian football”. Javaux’s response was also clear. “Very simple, it’s the first time we’ve seen such an unfortunate situation as that of Eupen’s goalkeeper,” Javaux concluded.
