Erbil gets lost in music and reaches America.

Erb – On November 24th, 25th and 26th, the sports hall in Erb will once again become a local music temple for the music festival Lost in Music. For three evenings, visitors can be taken through a program full of music, song and dance performed by artistes from the region. And that’s getting attention in America!

On the US YouTube channel ‘Highly Combustible Reacts’, videos respond to various performances by well-known and sometimes lesser-known artists. A surprise came earlier this year: In a video he discussed René Habragan’s performance with Sebastian during Lost in Music 2012. Watch the video here:

Habraken is a versatile singer from Heeswijk-Dinther and has already participated in various projects including Lost in Music in 2008 and 2012. He was very surprised to see the video: “It was very special for me to suddenly see a show 11 years ago. Ended up on the other side of the world. The original video has also been watched many times, but to this day I have no idea how it ended up in such a fiery reaction! It’s great to see because Lost in Music is one of the best projects I’ve been involved in.”

Version 2023

This year, the Lost in Music organization has once again put together a program presented by the OBK Concert Band, a special ensemble, passionate occasional singers, dancers and talented soloists from the region.

Lost in Music takes place at the Ter Aa Sports Arena in Erp and starts at 8pm daily. All seats are sold out, but there are several bar tables and stools for those with standing room. Last tickets available online at www.lostinmusic.info.
