Frustration with Jolie, wife of “Family” actor Werner de Smead: “He never did”

“Family” actor Werner de Smidt and Julie Bafort have been a couple for seventeen years. Their love is stronger than ever. However, this does not mean that there are minor inconveniences sometimes.

“Werner is the worst telephone person I know,” says Julie in Nina. “He never answers his phone and never listens to his voicemail, so he was losing jobs. We have set it up so they have to call me for professional appointments.”

“Resending text messages is also difficult,” says Julie. “And he never knows his phone is there. That sometimes leads to discussions, but he’s getting old. That won’t change anymore.”

“The discussion does not last long with us.”

Of course there are also things Julie and Werner have in common. “We love peace, being at home, and our family,” says Julie. They also consider forgiveness of the utmost importance. “We may well say our thoughts, but we know that we will continue together, so a discussion like this does not last long. What good is not talking for three days, those three days that ruin it.”
