Gloria Monserez, 22, must appear before a Leuven police judge in January after she was caught using her mobile phone behind the wheel in June.
The TV face, known as Ketnet Wrapster, was arrested on June 9 this year in Kessel-Lo. She must answer for a violation of the Highway Code at the Police Court on Wednesday, January 17. She is liable to a fine of between €240 and €2,000. In addition to the fine, the court can also impose a driving ban for a period ranging from 8 days to 5 years.
Monserez became co-presenter of Hotel Römantiek on Een in 2022, alongside Sven De Leijer. That year she also presented a segment of The Voice of Flanders on VTM, replacing An Lemmens during her maternity leave. On Castar! Won the “Breakthrough of the Year” award from Leuven. It was also announced last summer that Monserez would present a new version of De Droomfabriek with Bart Peeters.
