James Fouch defeats New Zealand’s road champion George Bennett

New Zealand’s new champion James Foch. The 23-year-old Bolton Equities Black Spoke rider crossed the fort alone after a difficult 144km. Defensive champion George Bennett was not involved: he finished twenty-second.
The race took place in Cambridge, where the route, which included a four-way climb on Maungawa Road (3.1 km 7.7%), was announced.
