Screenshots of the alleged Samsung Galaxy One UI 6.1 beta have been leaked. This shows that the operating system will be equipped with some new functions based on generative artificial intelligence. The Android version is scheduled to be presented in the upcoming Galaxy S24 phones.
Information about Samsung One UI 6.1 is taken from Screenshots from leaker Benit Bruhner Pro, Sammobile also reports. Features include a wallpaper creator, which allows users to create wallpapers for the phone based on AI prompts. For example, the screenshot shows an AI-generated wallpaper with lavender plants and a mountain background where users can choose different weather effects and times of day.
The operating system also gets AI features in the built-in photo editing software. Users can thus expand images and, for example, move objects in one image to another. It should also be possible to translate phone conversations in real time, but it’s not yet clear what languages this works in. Samsung had previously announced the latest phone feature, saying that it would be released “early next year.” Moreover, notes in the Samsung Notes app can be formatted automatically.
One UI 6.1 is expected to launch alongside the Galaxy S24 series. According to previous rumors, these phones will be announced on January 17.
