Jennifer Jensen recently purchased a new raincoat from The North Face, but that purchase quickly turned out to be a disappointment. While hiking in the mountains in New Zealand, it started to rain and Jennifer got soaked. “I bought a waterproof raincoat from your store, but I’m still wet,” she said in a TikTok video. “I don’t want my money back, but I demand that you design a new one and deliver it to where I am as soon as possible.”

The video went viral within a few days and The North Face also saw the video. They agreed to Jensen’s proposal. Jensen chose the latter, resulting in an experiment for himself and a brilliant promotional stunt for The North Face.
