Mario fans are in for a treat. The amazing Super Mario Bros. game was released last month. Wonder, a new major 2D platformer. This month, fans can look forward to a new Mario game: Super Mario RPG Remake.
The release will take place in just over two weeks, but international gaming media and some influencers have already had the chance to get started with a few hours of playtime.
Several gameplay videos from the hands-on sessions have been uploaded to YouTube and we’ve listed them for you. Previews are very positive regarding the improved presentation and retention of the charm of the original. Some media outlets are concerned about outdated gameplay mechanics that perhaps could have been updated better.
In 1996, Nintendo and JRPG experts Square-Enix collaborated to develop the Super Mario RPG. The game was well received and successful, but no sequel, remaster or remake was ever released. Nintendo wanted to make all of the Mario projects in the sequel themselves. After much demand and players giving up hope, Nintendo suddenly announced last summer that there would be a complete remake of the Super Mario RPG. In this game, playable characters Mario, Peach, and Bowser go on an adventure to repair the Star Road.
Fans won’t have to wait long to start playing Super Mario RPG. The game will be available exclusively for Nintendo Switch starting November 17, 2023.
