Last month, in addition to the beta version of macOS Monterey, Apple also worked on the beta version of macOS Big Sur 11.5. However, tonight’s biggest update is Big Sur 11.5. This update follows iOS 14.7, which has a number of new functions. In the Weather app you can see the air quality in the Netherlands there, but we don’t have such an app on our Mac.

Big Sur 11.5 includes the following improvements for Mac:

• The Podcast Library tab displays only all the shows or shows that you follow.

The following two issues were resolved:

• Incorrect display of the number of times the music was played and the date it was last played.
• Smart cards should now work again if you are logged into a computer with an M1 chip.

You can download macOS Big Sur 11.5 from System Preferences, just like with iOS. So download this update as follows:

1. go to the System Preferences.
2. click system update.
3. Your Mac will now automatically search for the latest version. click Download and install to get the update.
