Tholen – The first Fruit Logistica has ended after a long absence. The stalls are empty, the last pints of beer too, and the prices are split. As is the case every year, the necessary Dutch and Belgian companies went to the trouble of traveling to Berlin for a tour of the exhibition, and later sometimes for appointments at various booths.
In general, there was a satisfied and relaxed mood among the Dutch and Belgian exhibitors during this year’s Fruit Logistica fair. About the fact that there was finally an opportunity to meet with relationships in person, but also to rest in the crowd that had gathered.
The attendance of visitors from emerging markets such as Africa and South America was remarkable. Many exhibitors noted that they had seen many visitors from those continents in their pavilions. Visitors from North Africa, where Ramadan kept people at home, Asia and the corner of Russia as well as North America, where the CPMA fair took place at the same time, were less than expected. Not all retailers showed up either.
Due to the lateness of Fruit Logistica, many had to be in a smaller profession, because the busy season demands the necessary hands on the home front. Moreover, for a large part of the fruit growers, attention was still focused on heavy nights due to unexpected frosts. Nevertheless, many talk about fruitful conversations with the interested public.
The editors of AGF.nl also attended again. Below are photo reports of the Belgian and Dutch exhibitors at Fruit Logistica 2022.
