Prince Charles and Camilla ask BBC to record an episode of ‘Strictly Come Dance in the Palace’ | Showbiz

Prince Charles and his wife Camilla are said to be huge fans of Strictly Come Dancing, the British counterpart of Dancing with the Stars. That is why they were going to ask the Queen for permission to record an episode of the new season in the ballroom at Buckingham Palace. And he was glad to agree, as it appears in “The Sun”, to the delight of the show’s creators. “The BBC did not believe what they were shown,” a source said. “Strictly” in Buckinham Palace is just the television makers’ dream. It would be a wonderful sight.”

The special will be taped later this year, presumably relating to the quarter-finals or semi-finals. Charles and Camilla will be ready to perform their own dance. “It would be very special to attend the show at Buckingham Palace’s ballroom. Especially as we celebrate the Queen’s platinum anniversary this year. Although there is still a lot of work to do before it happens,” another source said. “But a great deal of dedication and goodwill went into organizing this unmissable occasion, which will conclude a very special year for the Queen and the nation.”
