According to the analyst, Nintendo is working hard on Mario Kart 9 development. We can expect an announcement within this year, according to Toto. He also claims that Mario Kart 9 will have a “new development”, but he did not elaborate on this matter.
“I realize Mario Kart 8 Deluxe is still selling very well on the Nintendo Switch, but Mario Kart 9 is in active development (and comes with a new twist) and Nintendo could tease it this year.”
In the same message, Toto also mentions that Nintendo will reveal a mobile game from one of its well-known IP addresses this year, without mentioning what franchise it is.
