Disney is doing its best to get all Marvel characters back. As part of this, the movie studio acquired 20th Century Fox, so that the X-Men and the Fantastic Four would return to their home at Marvel Studios. And now it looks like Disney is doing its best to buy back Spider-Man characters.
Giant Freakin Robot states that Disney is currently exploring the possibility of purchasing Spider-Man and all related characters from Sony. This would partly stem from the fact that Tom Holland Soon without a contract and we’ll have to talk to Sony again.
Buying a franchise?
It is not known how much money Disney would be willing to pay for the highly successful and profitable franchise from Sony. It’s clear that Sony does its best to produce Spider-Man movies that resonate with audiences.
