Step 5 of the World of Wonders quest is already known by modifying history

Players have been waiting for the final step of the World of Wonders questline for some time. We thought we would get this at an unknown time. But in the meantime we know that this will happen on May 24th. Niantic has programmed the quest line so that the final step will be released when May 24th is on your phone.

So when you set the date manually, it gets unlocked as well. We would advise everyone not to do this, as Niantic may see this as cheating. You are not allowed to change things like your location and date. Below you can see, as they are now known, the tasks and rewards of the last step:

• Catch 40 Pokemon – he meets
• Send 15 gifts to friends – he meets
• Evolve 3 Poison-type Pokemon – 3 rare candy
• Purify 5 Shadow Pokemon – 2 mysterious ingredients
• Rewards: 100 Puppy Candy, 803 experience points
