This latest Resident Evil Village demo has a great Resident Evil 4 reference

As I mentioned before GameSpot, The Village Demo of Resident Evil Village Show, which will be available on all platforms from May 1, allows you to interact with a gunsmith known as Duke.

While shopping for his wares, he jokes, “What are you buying? -Haha, just something an old friend of mine used to say.”

As we noted in our Resident Evil Village preview, this new entry borrows many ideas from RE 4, including the location.

RE 4 happened in Spain, and while the RE Village story will take players to Eastern Europe, it appears close enough to form a profitable friendship with these dealers.

Could this be just a nice nod to Resident Evil 4, which itself gets a new VR port on Oculus Quest 2, or a hint of a deeper connection between the two games?

We don’t have to wait long for Resident Evil Village to launch on May 7, 2021 on PS5, PS4, Xbox Series X / S, Xbox One, PC, and Stadia.
