Westhorpe | Sports in Zeeland

Jacqueline Jandee sent her five-year-old gelding Catch Me Devour Z to an excellent eighth place in the L class at the International Eventing Competition (Dressage, Jumping and Cross) at Westhorpe. A combination of Nieuw- and Sint Joosland became Zeeuws champions.

“I am very happy about it. I bought Catch Me Tivor when I was two years old. He made his eventing debut in the B class here last year. Now he’s become a champion in L… isn’t that great?”, said Jandee.

Jacqueline has high expectations for the five-year-old Kangara Z son: ,, Catch Me is a real event horse. A progressive with high potential. He quickly gets off the ground, is not afraid of water and walks very carefully. And perhaps most importantly: on the cross it is most reliable. That number eight, among the many Belgium and Dutch internationals who will come here to test their young talent, is proof that there’s more to it, in my opinion.”

Zoffier of Hibra, son of Ovidius, son of San von Bottelberge of Terneuzen, was the seventh. With this, he also won the Zealand title.
