Appointing a new coach is at the top of Hofsteed’s to-do list. Doodinchem Club is looking for a coach who wants to play attractive, offensive football. The new person should have a positive image and an eye for talent. D’Cropshop wants to focus more on the youth academy in the coming seasons.
The rumor flow is running at full speed. Roger Meijer, the club’s kid and now NEC coach, has already ruled out that he will be in charge of de Graffshop next season. The names of non-relocated coaches such as Hans de Going, Alphonse Kronentijk, John Stiegmann and Peter Hyballa are sung around, but do not appear to be the first choice.
