The fire started at 3:42 p.m. local time, according to The Sun. Several ambulances and fire engines rushed to the building to put out the flames. “The fire was quickly put out yesterday (Monday, editor),” a Los Angeles Fire Department spokesperson said. “No one was taken to the hospital, and there were no injuries.” It is not yet clear how the fire started. There is significant damage due to smoke.
He will live on the massive 150-acre estate with his wife, Jada Pinkett Smith, who turned 50 last weekend. Their son Jaden, 23, lives close to home in Hidden Hills and their daughter Willow, 20, lives on an oceanfront property in Malibu. The Smith family purchased several neighboring properties in Calabasas and began converting them into a single mega complex in 2003. It took seven years to complete the project. The property consists of nine bedrooms, a home cinema, swimming pool, garage for eight cars, basketball, tennis, volleyball and trampoline courts. In total there are 2,300 square meters of living space.
