CyberDog is also equipped with an Intel RealSense D450 module for depth perception. Xiaomi, in its own words, combines that with the camera technology of its smartphones. Furthermore, the robot dog has three USB-C ports and an HDMI connection, which developers can use to connect extensions. Xiaomi mentions the panoramic camera, camcorder, or lidar as an example.

Xiaomi has never made such a robot before. The company says CyberDog is open source and intended for developers. The Chinese manufacturer will sell 1,000 copies for 10,000 yuan each. Transferred with VAT, about 1,600 euros. It is not yet known if more copies will follow.
