Rumor: HarmonyOS is coming to these devices
Delicious person known to have cross X (formerly Twitter) published a list of devices receiving the HarmonyOS 4 update. Interestingly, these devices include devices from the Huawei P30 series, which are now more than 4.5 years old.
Mate 20 smartphone users can also start using the new software, and this also applies to Huawei Nova 5 Pro owners.
It is not clear exactly when the new software will be released, but it will happen in 2024. We also read in the same message that the devices will receive updates for six years, but no other details were mentioned. Many smartwatches and earbuds will also receive the update to HarmonyOS 4.
HarmonyOS was developed by Huawei as a counterpart to Android. After all, the Chinese company is no longer allowed to use the full version of Android. The great thing about it is that it works on different devices, from wearables to tablets and from smartphones to smart home equipment.
