Alleged mining farm NVIDIA GeForce RTX 4090 Ti & AMD Radeon RX 7000 equipped, over 3 TH/s effective hash rate

Now that sounds crazy, but it is Alleged mining farm Equipped with the next generation of NVIDIA GeForce RTX 4090 Ti & AMD Radeon RX 7000 Flexpool series graphics cards have been spotted. Miners usually include several hundred or even thousands of graphics cards running in parallel to mine crypto gold, but this particular setup is insane and too good to be true.

Next-gen NVIDIA GeForce RTX 4090 Ti and AMD Radeon RX 7000 graphics cards spotted with a mining company, allegedly mining over 3 TH/s

There is no way to verify that this mining farm actually includes the mentioned NVIDIA and AMD graphics cards, but it is currently active. There are three active employees associated with the mining account, including the NVIDIA GeForce RTX 4090 Ti (Overclock test), AMD Radeon RX 7000 (OC test), and AMD Radeon RX 7000 (Control test).

The NVIDIA GeForce RTX 4090 Ti factor produces an estimated 1.2-1.3 TH/s. In comparison, a single GeForce RTX 3090 card produces around 110-120MHz/sec. A minimum of 10,000 RTX 3090 installations is required to produce a hash rate of 1.2-1.3 TH/s. The Factor tab doesn’t show how many graphics cards are running in a setup, but it’s certainly not just one. The AMD Radeon RX 7000 control test results in an average of 657.3 GHz/s while the Radeon RX 7000 Overclock test produces a 580 GHz/s hash rate.

The pooled mining farm was able to produce up to 3.91 TH/s hash rate for Ethereum mining and is currently averaging 2.47 TH/s. Based on the average hash rate, the mining farm is capable of generating 5 ETH per 3 hours and has an estimated monthly payment of over $4 million USD. Each trade is worth approximately $20,000 (every 3 hours). The NVIDIA GeForce RTX 4090 Ti and AMD Radeon RX 7000 GPUs will join the next-gen gaming lineup and aren’t expected to be released until late 2022. The spotted mining farm joined 12 days ago and has already raised the network difficulty to PH 11 since then.

It could all be just a huge mining farm with miners that specialize in ASIC or existing graphics cards that have been named with next-generation bits to set them apart from the rest. But then again, if true, which is highly unlikely, the next generation of NVIDIA and AMD is sure to be devoured by another wave of miners hungry for the massive crypto-mining capabilities that these chips hold.
