celebritiesArnold Schwarzenegger (74) did a good job. The actor has donated at least $250,000 (220,801 euros) to an organization that builds “small homes” for veterans.
With that sum of $250,000, Arnold Schwarzenegger has financed no fewer than 25 homes for homeless veterans residing in Los Angeles. He announced this on Twitter on Thursday. “Today I celebrated Christmas early. The 25 homes I donated to homeless veterans were installed here in Los Angeles today. It was great spending time with our heroes and welcoming them into their new homes.”
“That’s what Christmas is all about,” the actor continued. “You all have the ability to do something for someone else this season. It doesn’t have to be big. Just give some of your time to someone else.”
Village for Vets builds homes for veterans who no longer have a home. Each cottage has heating, electricity and air conditioning. “The homes provide a high standard of living as the veterans are on their way to finding permanent housing and stability.”
