Awards: FunX Music Awards nominees announced: Voting is possible until May 30

The FunX audience has decided who will be nominated for the most important music awards in the young Netherlands: the FunX Music Awards.

Jonna Fraser has the best chance of winning the FunX Music Award with five nominations. Kevin and Dystinct are also major contenders with four nominations. Yad Loren is considered a promising candidate among female artists with three nominations. The audience decides who will receive the FunX Music Award. FunX DJ Fernando Halman opened the voting period this morning on “Start with Fernando.”

On Thursday, May 30, FunX will present the FunX Music Awards for the 11th time. Last year’s musical successes will be celebrated at AFAS Live in Amsterdam, with performances by Jonah Fraser, Riani and Cho, among others, all three of whom also have a chance to win a prize. The rest of the lineup will be announced on Monday, May 13 Start with Fernando. For those who missed out on tickets, there’s still hope: as of today, FunX is offering the last tickets to listeners who cast their votes via FunX.nl/awards.

Two nominations for Ronnie Felix

Ronnie Flex gave a stunning final show with The Fam last year during the anniversary edition of the FunX Music Awards, and this year he was nominated for two awards: Male Artist of the Year and Best Collaboration with Katnuf, Jonna Fraser & CAZA. It’s been an eventful period for Ronnie Flex, who was in the news earlier this year for action he took against his former record label.
