On March 19th, the GLORY 80 kickboxing event will take place at Trixxo Arena in Hasselt, featuring our compatriot Jamal Ben Siddik as well as the legend Badr Hari (106-16, 92 KO). Then the latter takes on the Dutchman Levi Riggers, who is ranked fourth in the heavyweight category.
Jamal Bin Siddiq caused quite a stir in October last year, when Rico nearly expelled “Kickboxing King” Verhoeven from the throne after a spectacular fight. Ben Sadek is now battling Levi “The Judge” Riggers for the first time in his career.
For his part, Harry hopes to put an end to a series of three losing battles in Hasselt, in which he was still ahead in each of these battles. His opponent would be Poland’s budding talent Arik Wrzyczyk, who he lost in September at GLORY 78. Out of nowhere, Pole put a stunning high kick on Harry’s head, sending the Dutchman out in the second round. The ending that earned Wrzosek the nickname ‘Knockout of 2021’ is considered one of the greatest comebacks in kickboxing history.
