After years of prodding from Eric van Lowe, Nils Disstadsbader finally gave a positive answer to the question: “Do you want to take part in ‘De Slimste Mens’?” In addition to Laura Tesoro, Sandra Bekkari and Dorian Liveyns, Nils is already the fourth name on the list of known candidates.
“Niels is a bit like Romelu Lukaku from Flemish fashion shows,” Eric told Het Nieuwsblad. “He can do everything and do it to an incredibly high level. That will give you something in the fall. I think we’re going to have a great time. We’ll find out what he’s worth as a pointer next, but I’m sure it won’t be over anytime soon.”
Nils Destadsbadr certainly wouldn’t have any nerves for the cameras: in 2009, at the age of 21, he already made his debut on Ketnet. Five years later, in 2014, he switched from VRT to VTM, where he himself more than once asked questions, among other things, “Is there Wifi in Tahiti?” and “Is there so-and-so in Mont Blanc?”. It is strange that he could pass the remaining information on these programs with him to “De Slimste Mens”!
