Europe and the United States conclude negotiations on an agricultural quota agreement


D.The allocation of this EU quota is the culmination of 2 years of negotiations under the World Trade Organization, with the rest remaining with the EU-27 and part with the UK based on recent trade flows. Once the Commission approves the EU-US agreement, it will be sent to the European Parliament and the Council for Approval so that it can come into force soon.
