NFL Picks, Predictions Week 6: Could things get worse for the Chiefs this week?

Making early choices and predictions for Week 6 after a good week in the NFL has us trying to figure out what was real and what was a sham. What may Week 6 have in store for us as the NFL rankings begin to take shape?

NFL predictions and choices NFL Lines and Odds for Week 6

There are some fascinating lines in this week’s NFL picks. Is the information provided by the sportsbooks correct, or are they missing something? With our early Week 6 choices and predictions, let’s see if there’s anything we can take advantage of this week.

Tampa Bay Buccaneers (-7) vs Philadelphia Eagles

It’s a bit of a wonder how the Eagles managed to win their game against the Panthers. Before Jalen Hurts awoke in the fourth quarter, Philadelphia seemed to be completely overwhelmed. The Buccaneers are a more vicious club than the Panthers, thus a late comeback should be less likely.

Miami Dolphins (-3) at Jacksonville Jaguars

Tua Tagovailoa’s much anticipated comeback could not come soon enough for the Dolphins, who have already lost four straight games. For Miami, who are 1-3 on the other side of the Atlantic, London has not been a good hunting ground. The Jaguars, on the other hand, are not used to managing a traveling squad, so this will be a new experience for them.

The future of both clubs’ head coaches is a concern. Although the Dolphins should be the superior team, another London game may be decided in the fourth quarter.

Kansas City Chiefs (-6.5) vs Washington Football Team

The Chiefs could never have predicted that they would be last in their division or under.500 after Week 5. That is, however, the circumstance in which they find themselves. This week, they face a Washington club with one of the league’s weakest defenses. If this game is close, it will be a huge warning sign for the Chiefs in 2021.

Los Angeles Chargers vs Baltimore Ravens (-3.5)

The Chargers have been outstanding, but traveling on the road to Baltimore will be another major test for them. Los Angeles cannot afford to lose this game, and with it, their two-game advantage over the Kansas City Chiefs in the NFL rankings.

On Monday Night Football, the Ravens have a chance to tie the Chargers at 4-1. They haven’t looked right, and they aren’t going down without a fight against the Chargers. In Baltimore, this should be a tight game.

Minnesota Vikings vs Carolina Panthers (-1.5)

The Panthers will be heartbroken after blowing the game against the Eagles. Meanwhile, the Vikings’ 2021 season has proven to be quite difficult. They could have easily gone down 0-5 if two field goals had gone in the wrong direction. If the Panthers fail to win this game at home, there will be major doubts about the team’s path in 2021.

Green Bay Packers (-4.5) vs Chicago Bears

The Packers might be there for the taking for the Bears after an emotional roller coaster in Week 5. Chicago has been heavily mocked, but they now have an opportunity to prove that they are legitimate NFC contenders.

Sadly, the Bears have only won one of their previous ten meetings with the Packers. Even with a new quarterback in the lineup, breaking a streak against one of the best in Aaron Rodgers will be difficult.

Cincinnati Bengals (-3-5) vs Detroit Lions

The Bengals should be able to win this game. However, there is some fear about fatigue following a dramatic, emotional loss last week mixed with the demands of an extra stretch. In addition, there are concerns about Joe Burrow’s neck. The Lions will compete hard, but they lack the Bengals’ talent, provided Burrow is able to play.

Houston Texans vs Indianapolis Colts (-10)

Despite having one of their finest offensive games under Davis Mills, the Texans were only able to score 22 points. The Colts, on the other hand, haven’t exactly been a juggernaut. They should be able to win, but covering a 10-point spread for a team that averages 20 points per game is a different story. The Colts should win this game, but it will most certainly be closer than 10 points.

Los Angeles Rams (-10-5) vs New York Giants

Whether or not Daniel Jones is on the field, the Rams should easily win this game. The Giants defense only let up 44 points to the Cowboys, and the Rams offense is on par with Dallas’. The only distinction Jones is likely to make is whether the game is a two-score or three-score affair.

Arizona Cardinals vs Cleveland Browns (-3)

The Cardinals are looking to stay undefeated in this matchup between two of the greatest teams in the NFL. The Chargers exploited Cleveland’s defense, but Arizona’s defense is also vulnerable. This should be a high-scoring NFL game, which is usually difficult to predict and choose. The Browns need this one more at home, and it could be the difference between winning and losing.
