Nice to watch: Albert and Charlene’s tin wedding

Albert and Charlene met in 2000 during the Monaco Grand Prix. The couple started dating in 2006 and got engaged in 2010.

Exactly 10 years ago, the King of Monaco tied the knot with South African swimmer Charlene Wittstock. What is remarkable is that the religious wedding was held outside, in the courtyard of honor of the princely palace. There was room to invite up to 3,500 guests. Prince Willem-Alexander and Maxima at that time were also present. The Mass was led by Archbishop Bernard Barcy. Then the newlyweds left for a car ride to Saint Devote’s Church, where Charlene left her wedding bouquet.

Designer Giorgio Armani designed the dress for Princess Charlene. It was a very valuable piece of clothing: up to 40,000 Swarovski stones and 30,000 golden stones were installed on the silk dress. The veil was 20 meters long, made of silk tulle.

In 2014 twins were born: Jack and Gabriella. We’ve seen them regularly in pictures in recent years when they were out with their parents!

Check out a series of photos from the wedding below. At the top of this article you can watch a beautiful video with a summary of the wedding day. Can’t get enough? Scenery Here Then the entire photo album with dozens of photos from the last ten years!
