In the world, which is often described as “Pokémon with guns,” will be released in Early Access later this week. The game will launch on January 19 on PC (Windows Store and Steam), Xbox One, and Xbox Series The game will also be available immediately via Game Pass.
The makers of Palworld describe themselves as a “monster hunting, survival and crafting game” with some elements from other genres added to deliver a completely new experience.
Concretely, you will actually have to build a lot and collect resources to survive, and your “friends” of course play an important role in this. You can have them do all kinds of tasks, from making fire or electricity to extracting materials. You can also throw them into a factory, where they will work as slaves until they die.
Palworld clearly has a dark side, and not just because of the weapons in the game. You can go the criminal route and recruit your friends to commit robberies, and if things get really bad, you can also eat them to survive.
Palworld will remain in Early Access for at least a year and will feature four-player co-op from the start with dedicated servers for 32 players. New things are gradually added, including PvP.
