Developer Jagex has released the smartphone version of RuneScape for iOS and Android. The game is free, has a mobile friendly interface and, according to the British developer, is completely cross-platform.

According to Jagex, players can easily switch from PC to mobile, or vice versa, and continue their gaming session seamlessly. The game is free but includes paid extras including new missions and special abilities.
Jagex works Since 2017 to RuneScape Mobile. Android users have been able to test the game since 2019 via early access. iOS users had to wait until May 2020. Since April of this year, players have been able to sign up for the game, giving them “exclusive in-game rewards.” According to Jagex, more than 1.8 million people have done so.
An older version of RuneScape, Old School RuneScape, has been available for iOS and Android for some time now, This version appeared On October 30, 2018.
