Developer Jagex has released the smartphone version of RuneScape for iOS and Android. The game is free, has a mobile friendly interface and, according to the British developer, is completely cross-platform.

Since April of this year, players have been able to sign up for the game, giving them “exclusive in-game rewards.” According to Jagex, more than 1.8 million people have done so.
