The events of the series take place a week after the events of Batman. Now that Carmine Falcone is gone, a number of criminals see an opportunity to take over his business. Oswald ‘Oz’ Cobblepot, otherwise known as The Penguin, now also wants to become the new boss of Gotham’s underworld.
This is not going completely smoothly. Carmine’s children do not allow this, especially Sofia Falcone. She has her own plans and wants to take over her father’s criminal empire, which puts her in direct confrontation with Penguin.
