“Shang-Chi” contains post-credits scenes and that says a lot about the upcoming Avengers movie

The Marvel Cinematic Universe is already taking it one step further with the movie Shang Chi and the Legend of the Ten Rings. The movie not only introduces Shang-Chi to the MCU, but it also appears to have a setting for the next Avengers movie.

There are two scenes after the film’s credits. Half of it for you first:

#1: Shang-Chi and Katy are having dinner with their friends after their epic showdown at the end. Their friends are happy to have dinner together, but don’t believe the story of Shang Chi and Katie. Until the gate opens into the restaurant.

Wong gets out of there and invites Shang-Chi and Katy to join them (to their friends’ surprise). They go to Sanctum Sanctorum, where Wong uses rings to analyze them. They are joined by Captain Marvel and Bruce Banner via hologram, with Carol’s long hair and Bruce’s brace on his arm. The rings are not made of vibranium.

Carol says it’s unlike any technology she’s seen. I asked Shang Zhi how long his father had been, and he replied: “Mm, like 1000 years.” The rings are much older than that according to Bruce Wong that they both felt in the sanctuary. ‘They look like a beacon’, concludes Carol, to which Bruce adds that she has “send a message”. But where? There are no answers yet, but it’s clear that Shang-Chi and Katy are now part of the team!

# 2: Wong is now in a restaurant with Shang-Chi and Katy. He says their lives will be totally different, so it’s time to relax for a while. Then they go to a karaoke bar, where they get drunk and start singing.
