Small update to the Start menu and taskbar in Windows 11 – News

Microsoft made some small but practical improvements in the previous version of Windows 11. These improvements include making the clock visible on multiple screens.

In Windows 11 Insider Preview Build 22509, you can now choose more layout options for the start bar, clock, and date. The latter two will now also be displayed on a second screen. From now on, anyone who right-clicks when starting can add more Pins or an extra row of recommendations there.

Furthermore, the number of notifications will be stacked from now on, showing only three high priority notifications, for a total of four (three high priority and one normal message).

For Edge, Microsoft has made narration (narrator) easier. This function is useful for the blind and visually impaired, but it is now easy to set web addresses by going directly to the address bar via ctrl + L and pressing. The way fields are read has also been modified. For example, the next character will be read when a character is deleted. There will also be more context sensitive information, for example about radio buttons and collapsed menus on a web page.

Also, the latest version also has some tweaks and improvements in the settings, such as indicating the correct pages. In Airplane mode, it will now remember if WiFi and/or Bluetooth is on and a number of bugs have been removed, such as the Home button, widgets, and chat icons appearing too large in some circumstances. You can make all adjustments I read here.

It is about the functionality of the Preview version of Windows 11. In general, these functions and improvements will eventually be sent to Windows 11 for all users over time.
