Nintendo has released the first post-launch update for Splatoon Raiders on Nintendo Switch 2, bringing version 1.1.1 with several bug fixes and gameplay adjustments. The update focuses on improving overall stability and addressing issues reported by players since the game’s release.
The latest patch introduces a small but useful gameplay change, along with fixes affecting combat mechanics, dungeon features, arcade content, and system stability.
Splatoon Raiders Version 1.1.1 Patch Notes
Gameplay Improvements and Fixes
One of the key changes in the update affects tank limiter controls. Players can now release a tank’s limiter without needing to hold down the A Button, making the action more convenient during gameplay.
Nintendo also fixed an issue involving the Hideout Ship and dungeon areas. The feature designed to hide certain interface elements, such as the Showstopper Gauge, after a period of inactivity was not working correctly and has now been addressed.
Combat and Ability Fixes
The update resolves several combat-related problems. Nintendo fixed an issue where the Emergency Damage Up effect was not being applied to explosion damage created through the Splatchet’s Explosive Steps ability.
Another issue involving movement after using a Splatchet has also been corrected. Previously, players could occasionally become unable to move after performing a Squid Roll from a wall and immediately using the weapon.
Additional Bug Fixes in Splatoon Raiders 1.1.1
The patch also includes fixes for specific areas and gameplay modes:
- Fixed an issue in Soyu Cliffs where a Fish Stick could sometimes move into the terrain and become impossible to defeat.
- Fixed a problem in the arcade game HOPPING, where the Exploration Bot could occasionally stop attacking Salmonids.
- Resolved a crash issue that could occur when players tapped the Nintendo Switch 2 touchscreen on the fog animation screen after launching the game.
- Made several additional adjustments to improve the overall gameplay experience.
Nintendo Continues Post-Launch Support for Splatoon Raiders
The version 1.1.1 update marks Nintendo’s first major post-release patch for Splatoon Raiders, following the earlier version 1.1.0 update. The company has not announced any major new content additions with this patch, but the improvements are aimed at creating a smoother and more reliable experience for players.
As Nintendo continues supporting its Nintendo Switch 2 lineup, updates like this are expected to address technical issues and refine gameplay based on player feedback.
Splatoon Raiders is currently available on Nintendo Switch 2, with version 1.1.1 now available for download.
