Borussia Dortmund had to fight hard for their second win of the season. Hoffenheim seemed to go home with one point, but that counted without goalkeeper Erling Haaland. The young Norwegian still gave his team the win with a powerful close-range shot.
Thomas Meunier and Axel Witsel played 90 minutes for Dortmund. Witsel did it again centrally in defence. Thorgan Hazard was out due to injury.
