Commenting on height differences is “problematic” and “misogynistic,” says TV stars Tom Holland and Zendaya. The two had to kiss in the latest Spider-Man and were told comments on some scenes that show she’s older than him.

Last Friday, Zendaya and Tom Holland appeared Spider-Man: Far From Home He played the main roles in the talk show of the radio station Sirius XM. They talked about the “ridiculous social expectations” placed on relationships.
When presenter Jessica Shaw began asking the couple – also in real life the couple – about the length difference visible during an on-screen kiss in Spider Man, Holland said, “It’s not much bigger, let’s just say that here. It’s a few centimeters. It’s not like people are wondering how we can physically kiss.”
So the two think it’s a “stupid assumption” that it would even be a problem. “It’s normal,” Zendaya said. “My mom is taller than my dad. My mom is taller than everyone else. And that’s not strange.”
When we did the screen tests Spider Man“Every girl was taller than me,” Holland said. “I don’t know if this was a conscious choice of director John Watts. No one was younger than me. Maybe his intention was to break that stereotype, I think it’s cool.”
