Good news for VRT facing Karl Vannieuwkerke (50). At UZ Gent, he was told he no longer needed to come for an annual medical exam. He was declared cured of salivary gland cancer, which was discovered in it seven years ago.

“Seven years. A ticket to peace and liberation,” writes Karl Vanoukerke with a photo of his ticket for an appointment at UZ Gent. The introduction went there for the last time on an annual checkup.
