LEGO Fortnite will be an open world game in which you can build, explore, and enter a type of dungeon to collect materials and defeat enemies. It’s somewhat reminiscent of Minecraft, but has a completely unique look and feel. The developers themselves write the following about it:
Explore vast, open worlds where the magic of LEGO building and Fortnite collide. Collect food and resources, craft items, build shelters, and fight enemies alone or as a team with up to seven friends. Unleash your creativity as you build and customize your ultimate home base using LEGO elements you collect from the world around you. Then recruit villagers to collect materials and help them survive the night. Prepare yourself and descend into the deep caves in search of rare resources and hidden areas. Discover the ultimate survival and building adventure with LEGO in Fortnite! The journey has only just begun, with new world building, gameplay features and more LEGO-style costumes to be introduced in updates from early 2024.
