Therese Gibson might think he made a great movie with him MorbiusThe rest of the world sees this differently. Although the film still performed well at the box office, reviews are hugely disappointing. film director Daniel Espinosanow responds to this.
The Sony/Marvel movie received quite a few negative reviews. For example, the film is currently ranked “Rotten” on Rotten Tomatoes, with a score of just 17%. Now Espinosa is making herself heard, too.
During a recent interview, the director said that of course he regrets the poor reception of the film, but remains proud of his work. Although Espinosa himself can be critical of his own work, he is somewhat satisfied with the way the work is going.
†It’s kinda weird to make something “public”The well-known director also starts with films like safe home And the life† †I suffer from a great deal of self-loathing, so I always criticize my work a lot. However, I mainly focus on learning from my mistakes so that I can improve. Fortunately, there are also things that I do and that I am proud of. There are parts and scenes in the movie that I’m really proud of!
However, it remains to be seen if the film is a big enough “success” for a sequel. Espinosa already seems to be signaling, in one form or another, that he’d like to come back to do a better job. Whether it will reach that is not yet clear.
