The new action movie “Fast and loose,” starring Will Smith, has been put into production by Netflix. That the Hollywood Reporter reports on Saturday. The decision was allegedly made after the Oscars, where Smith took to the stage and punched comedian Chris Rock after he teased his wife, Jada Pinkett Smith.

However, the departure of director David Leitch also plays an important role. The project was halted a week before the Oscars because it would direct Universal Fall Guy with Ryan Gosling. Production of this film was scheduled to begin in August.
But Smith’s incident during the Oscars would have caused Netflix to decide to put the search for a new director in the background. It remains unclear whether the streaming service will continue to produce the film, and if so, whether a new lead actor is being sought as well as a new director.
“Fast and Luxurious” is about a criminal who loses his memory after being attacked. After he wakes up, he has to put the puzzle pieces from his past back into place. Then he learned that he used to live two different lives: that of a wealthy serial killer and a secret agent of the CIA.
