EA Motive, developer of Star Wars Squadrons, is rumored to be working on a version Biology From an old EA franchise. The game in question will be announced during the EA Play presentation on Thursday, July 22nd.
The information comes from VentureBeat journalist Jeff Grubb, who often posts accurate information about unannounced games. Grubb doesn’t report what the franchise is about, but he does tell us podcast The game will be shown during EA’s next presentation, as noted VGC On Eurogamer On.
“We’ll see if we don’t die first,” Grob teases. It could be a new game in the Dead Space franchise, Eurogamer wrote. The same site notes that Grubb’s claims are consistent with information that Eurogamer herself has learned. The studio behind the Dead Space series, Visceral Games, closed in 2017. Visceral was still working on an untitled Star Wars game at the time, which was also canceled. The last Dead Space game was released in 2013.
EA Motive says it’s working on several new games. The studio reported that in October 2020 in Blog post. The developer has not yet revealed details of the projects the company is working on, but the alleged revival project was due to be shared within a month. EA Play will take place on July 22nd. It is not yet known when EA will hold the presentation.
