Technical problems with Pukkelpop ticket sales, 70 percent of Combi tickets sold | Music

MusicPukkelpop ticket sales began on Wednesday. However, problems have arisen with paying tickets online, as many people have reported on social media. Meanwhile, 70 percent of Combi tickets have already been sold out. Pukkelpop is scheduled for August 19-22.

Pukkelpop started the Belgian presale on Wednesday. Until Wednesday 30 June, tickets can only be ordered from Belgium. However, many people who wanted to order a ticket on Wednesday encountered error messages when paying for tickets, according to reactions on Facebook and Twitter. “The interest in starting tickets was huge, and we’ve never seen it before,” says Pukkelpop. “Technology has not been able to keep up with the payment provider for a while due to the unprecedented busyness within our systems, but that was quickly resolved again.”

In three hours, 70 percent of Combi tickets were sold out. Camping Chill is almost completely sold out now. “We’ve never seen that before. It’s a quick start,” according to Pukkelpop. The festival in Kiewit aims for a full version that receives 66,000 visitors per day. More details on, among others, safety procedures, queuing and camp sites will follow shortly. According to the organization, there will be no social distancing or mouth masks in Pukkelpop. Festival-goers must be able to present a vaccination passport or be tested.
