Wendy, 41, quit her well-paid job 9 to 5 while studying to become a nurse
“I got married at a very young age. Unfortunately, it quickly happened that went wrong and I always felt sorry for not completing my studies,” Wendy begins her story. “In the end, I started working as a management writer at UZ Leuven without a diploma. There I was fortunate that my supervisors believed in me; they saw that I had more in store and they gave me the opportunity to pursue in-house training courses. Thus I was able to rise to the position of Clinical Research Assistant.”
